Nicely made game, although the dice rolling mechanic is problematic, leading to many times that I have had to restart simply due to not rolling enough on the dice.

scarier than alien isolation

download doesn't work

One thing that would be cool if there was some sort of story, multiple areas, and maybe even a secret area where you play this game!

Game is really fun so far, the graphics, while simple, are pleasing to look at and moving along the Z-axis is also very fun, it reminds me of the newer Rayman games where you would occasionally travel to the background of a stage. You could try to add facial animations to make the character feel more alive.
Gameplay is fluid, you always feel in control of your character although it does get a bit slippery sometimes. Holding jump makes you continuously jump, which I do find a bit strange, but ultimately makes wall jumping much easier. And on the topic of wall jumping, I find that jumping from wall to wall is a bit too hard since you don't cling to a wall and have to jump before pulling away. And the levels absolutely need checkpoints. It gets especially frustrating with longer levels such as 1-3. And for some reason, the boost pads and teleporters don't work if you don't press a button.
The boss was actually really fun, I enjoyed it a lot. The concept works really well although I would have preferred some more telegraphing for the attacks since they're quite hard to predict. It's not always clear when the sabres are in the foreground or in the baseground.
Overall, this is a solid game with great potential. I wonder how the game will be able to innovate more with the depth mechanic.

You could move the camera down, that would also work.

This game has potential.

And I'm interested to see how much potential could come out of this.

The base is there, it works, it's good, and I think that with the right materials, this could turn out to be a very good game.

I enjoy the cute and Flash-reminiscent graphics and music, they give this game personality. The right game design ideas are there, but could do with a bit more fine-tuned difficulty scaling.

However, one thing in particular which I didn't like was the camera. It's really inconvenient, especially for a platformer where you always need to be able to foresee your next actions. And with such a limiting view and low camera, it becomes hard to make consistent progress as you are unable to tell where to land or jump to.

One thing that would benefit the game is a silhouette of the objects that appear when switching dimensions. This would help the flow of the game.

Good job so far, if you could manage to fix these issues then you'll have a great little game.
